The original workpermit will be mail it to your house or any corresponded address. At least 2-3weeks later. Or if you want to make sure of it, dont hesitate to call CIC Congratulation..

I sent my police check to Vegrevile office (i live in Alberta). When i sent the original, also attached with a copy of requested letter from IRCC so i dont need to make any cover letter (unless if you have something to explain more). Also as back up i sent the scan of it tru ecase webform. Good...

You could email the Embassy/CHC and ask them to check the visa number and details? In the same time u need to check the legal status of your agent.

In my case, when they requested for updated PCC, clearly stated on their letter that i(applicant) need to send the original to Vegreville (i live in Alberta) and i submitted it online tru ecase webform (as back up :) )

Congrats :) i wonder u stated tht u dont book your return ticket, can u inform me, do you have any relative here or just leisure trip? As i understand to convince the CBSA officer to enter Canada is if u have return ticket otherwise they will give u difficulty time

The important is... If CBSA stamped your passport with specific date, means u need to exit Canada at that date but.. if they dont stamp it means u can stay up to 6monts

Agreed with @excitedme If i were your bf, i will buy roundtrip ticket. i dont want any trouble and ruin the plan. Anyhow soon he arrives in Canada, he can cancel the return ticket :)

I have no experience as you but in my oppinion i dont want any trouble :) With PR you can stay in Canada but when you travelling outside, you still folllow as the passport you are belong to
