One year of work is needed to be able to apply for Canadian Experience Class and should not be confused with LMIA. LMIA is to prove that your employer was not able to find a local person to fill the job vacancy thus he wants to hire you instead.

Almost all are Northern Europe and 90% for work. (Austria, Netherlands, UK, Belgium, France etc). Do they really check each country? :o

I used to travel a lot for work, almost 2-3 times a month. I have listed those travel dates in my application. Why would that be an issue?

Are Outland applications processed faster than Insland? Also I applied as CEC but app was changed to FSW. Has anyone else experienced this?

5 months 17 days since AOR Status BG Check in progress for the last 3 days after submitting additional documents. Ghost email yesterday. All fees paid with application submission at that time. Any idea how long it usually takes to go from BG in progress to approval?

OK BG Check went in progress after additional docs were submitted on Friday night. This is the second time after 5 months of inactivity that it is going back to "in progress" status! keeping fingers crossed :)

I had it at "in progress" for a couple of days during the first weeks of my application but has been on "not needed at this time" since April

I needed to provide a copy of the judgement document stamped & signed by the court and also the petition to file for divorce. (I had one that was stamped copy) THey asked for a certificate but they do not issue one at the courts in California. The judgement is the certificate. :)
