Hello Sad girl, You do need to re-submit your character certificate it depends on your immigration officer/case. In one of my friend case they have asked him to re-do medical and get new character certificate (beacuase both were expire). I think you should email CIC and ask about the process...

I don't know about others but I've waited 8-9 months to schedule the interview. They have informed me by email not by post or mail. My file was was in the queue of interview since july 2009 and they have booked my interview for April 2010.

Finally I have received the date of my interview schedule for April. I have waited almost 8 months just to schedule interview date. I think London is the slowest office in the world and so far I have a bad experience with them.

Normally CIC process medical exam for permanent resident visa in 3 months (its written on the website of CIC-london). Do they also take same duration for re-do medical exam ?

You need to complete your medical before sending your file. Some DMPS are not aware of the new rules of family class spouse Visa. Normally it takes one week to update your record after your DMP send your report. Regards, Beans
