Mine also showed in progress even when I got my PPR. It showed "approved" after my passport spent 2 weeks in the embassy, then got it back after 2 more weeks. You might get PPR within the week up to 4 weeks.

    Spousal sponsorship

I agree with this. These types of documents are too lenghty to prepare. It took us 2 months to gather all documents and make sure they were in the right format as IRCC wants before we were able to submit the whole application. It all got accepted in the end with no problem.

    Spousal sponsorship

Wait times/processing times are different for everyone. It depends on your case and documents submitted. Only IRCC can tell since they are the ones that make decisions about your application.

    Spousal sponsorship

I did the "last name_first name_proof of relationship - 1" format and it seemed to make the process smooth. I had to resubmit a police certificate earlier this year since it was about to expire and was labeled "last name_first name_police certificate - 2" and from there our application moved...

In my experience, we paid for the fee in full right after submitting the application. Also, what do you mean with your "other file"? You have two applications?

COPR number displayed on portal but no PPR request since 3 weeks

It usually comes within a week or two. Check your GCKey if your PPR has been sent as a message there. Everyone gets a COPR detail whether approved or not as this is a document number for a specific file or case. You should try to wait a bit more or contact IRCC through webform.

How Much Time It Takes From Passport to Visa Stamped via VFS

Yeah you have to collect it. I think you need to call the VFS if you want it delivered instead to you and coordinate with them regarding the payment. If you opted for a 2-way courier, then it should have to be delivered to you.
