    Earlier it said : " Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check." Now : "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

    I don't think they have a direct number, The only way you can contact them is via email.

    In most cases PA will receive an email shortly from NDVO regarding the docs they need , could be any document (mostly for verification purpose) . This at least show that the file is moving ! hope you get your PPR soon :)
