Yeah I think we should be ok without IELTS if the uni exempts us. Good to know another person from india is going to SFU this year! I will be going in August, waiting on the loan sanction from the bank. Will prob apply 1st week of april. Is your course in downtown vancouver campus??

Anyone applying for visa for this fall intake. I got into simon fraser university masters program. SHould i apply under university or general category? Whats the difference?

Not really sure abt the phd programs....but they do take longer to process for admission, so it might be a little late to apply for another university for fall admissions now. Dont worry Im sure you will get into atleast one of the two. Where are you applying from?

Re: Simon Fraser Fall 2013- Beedie School of business I got in for ms finance starting in August. The application process took abt 6 week, so u might hear from them only in March.

I have applied to msc finance in schulich (york) and Simon Fraser. Got into simon fraser, waiting on york. Anyone got queries on application process or university selection can also feel free to comment.

Not really sure about the phd program , you should apply to other uni's as backup. Simon Fraser is not the hardest university to get into for masters & Phd. You seem to have good PG scores and well published. Is simon fraser your first choice?

@Maryamt I applied Jan 1st week i got the offer last week. It takes abt 6 weeks so you should be patient. What course did u apply for? My profile Gmat : 680 Work exp: 3 yrs UG GPA: 3.2/4
