Yes dear even for landing in USA you need. Transit visa.So it's best if you avoid flights via USA

For USA you need transit visa even if you stay for few hours and don't even leave airport.

PCC at Chandigarh office need no prior appointment.even if you have ,you are treated same .Pratically there is no difference.For PCC timings are till 12.Pls be there before 12. It will take entire day as you have to wait for at various counters which is time taking.
