Hi, I have a couple of questions.

1. How long does it take to get the GCMS Notes. I have applied and it has been more than 3 weeks.
2. For the people who have been scheduled for interview - has the status changed to "In Process"? If so - when - how long after you got the interview call?

2. For the people who have been scheduled for interview - has the status changed to "In Process"? If so - when - how long after you got the interview call? - no its application recd or medical recd......but not in IP...by notes u will find out if your interview is waived or not....ndvo will give u notice 4-6 weeks before your interview date

For your first question, it takes approximately 1 month to get GCMS notes back.

To your second question, I am not sure.... But checking the spreadsheet, there does not seem to be anyone who is in process and has an interview scheduled. This could be because NDVO hasn't started interviews yet and applications usually go in process when they have all info ready to make the decision to give visa or reject it. And that can be decided only after the interview has taken place.

I don't know how long it will take to go into in process after interview

1)In 10th class there is no particular field of study,so what should I mention in last column of Field of Study relating to 10th Class studies

2) There is a gap year in my studies as I was preparing for MBA from 2004-2005.No certificate or diploma was issued by coaching institute.Though I had mentioned Prepatory in field of Study but I am not sure about it
Please suggest

Thanks Myrah! All of you motivate me to do much more for this forum, and I wish I had more free time to do just that. But more than that, I wish I was an NDVO visa officer so that I could stamp DMs all day long as quickly as I could for all my friends in the forum here, including you.

Well for 10th class field of study, you can just mention the subjects that are in your marksheet.
And for the gap in the study I don't really have an idea on this.

his box is full to send a PM..just add general if you don't have any specific field of study..show all the gaps in years...I think they are just looking at your years of study and degrees/certificates and don't care about relevancy to family visa..if it had been work or study visa it would be different there courses, degrees matter
