I just got an email back from Seattle. Apparently our medicals aren't in the system yet and it said Ottawa is taking about 2 months to process medicals at the moment. So i guess no good news for me for another month or 2 at least. Oh well. Waiting waiting :) I think the closer i get the more...

No, it hasn't :( Someone who did their medicals the day before me has that line though. I feel like the closer we all get the more impatient I'm getting. It would just be nice to know what's happening after 27 months. We want to make plans. I want to go on a holiday hehe :)

Bit quiet isnt it. I'm hoping when July 1st comes we will all get PPR within the week :) It seems like forever since there was a big group of PPR sent out. Keeping all myfingers crossed for all of us.

My friend who applied under Can Exp Class and got transferred to Seattle sent them an email today enquiring about her status. They just wrote back asking for her passport and the fee. Hope more of us get news like that soon :) Just had 2 bears outside our office window. I love Canada

Omooba, that is a pain they are just asking for those forms now when your medical was done in Feb. But like Can3x8 said we don't really have a choice do we so if they ask for something we have to send it :( Good luck. When i received my MR letter it asked for MR only and NO other revised forms...

Hi Eco, The Dr sends the results for you. When i enquired with my Dr they said my Dr's fee included FedEx fee for results so that's how mine was sent. I was able to ring up the Dr's office and get the FedEx tracking #. Hope that helps :) Wendy

Soop, I was just reading through old posts. How did your MR go? Hope it all went well and you got your photo size sorted :) Have your results reached Ottawa according to courier tracking? Hopefully we both soon get medical line on our ecas as well.

Hi Soop, No my ECAS status hasn't been updated as yet with medical line but Atakan did MR day before me (May 28). Hopefully there is lots of good news this week :) W

Thanks for the insight buddy. And also for clarifying the courier question. I was starting to think uh oh how will i get my passport from Canada to USA if it's illegal. I'd probably just post it anyway. Still a scary thought having your passport leave your hand! :)

Hi Atakan, Thanks for writing :) So you went to Dr Dwyer and Laurel St x-ray too? Did he just do 3 minor exams for you too (eye chart, BP and listening to chest?) My bf didn't find him too friendly although he and I had a great old chat. I found all the staff very friendly and helpful there...

So glad it wasn't bad news Loveson. I have heard of x-ray places taking bad films. Our x-ray tech made us wait around while they checked the film so hopefully no surprises for us in that regards. Good news is surely coming to us all very very soon :)

It's my understanding that you can have the medical done in any country, so long as it's a Dr from the list of designated medical practitioners on the website http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medical.aspx All the results get sent to Ottawa anyway. Wendy

Nurse_hope I was wondering that too. Now Buffalo has closed and i think their files have gone to Ottawa I wonder if Ottawa are slower at checking over meds and approving them so that VO can issue PPR. Or maybe Seattle is just trying to get all the MR backlogs out of the way then moving onto mass...

With any luck maybe one of your tests/samples wasn't viable or something and they just need you to redo it. Let's hope that is all it is. Good luck tomorrow
