I'm in Whistler so just up the road a bit :) Not 100% sure yet but i think we will go on a little vacation to US/Mexico then land when we fly back in. I did consider doing landing at Vancouver office but it all depends on how long it would take as i've heard a month or so (my visa is fine until...

Hi Soop, I Rec'd PPR on July 12th, passport/fee/common-law declaration sent on July 13th and package arrived Seattle VO July 17th. PPR letter said they would return PP within 4 weeks. As I'm in Canada it will be sent regular US mail only so a bit slower. Hope this helps :) Thanks. W

Yay, told you you'd be next Loveson. Congrats :) I'm starting to think that re-doing medicals or doing extra tests (like my bf did) means our MR files end up on the top of the pile as the latest PPR have all done/redone MR around June. I keep checking my mailbox for my passports but no sign as...

Thanks Tokon. It was a long wait prior to my MR letter but I'm so fortunate that PPR came so quickly after MR. Now i'm just anxiously awaiting the return of my passport. Been approx 2 weeks so far so approx 2 - 4 weeks wait to go i guess :)

Congrats Sanaman, they were pretty quick with your pp weren't they. Just 2 weeks from when it arrived in Seattle to when you got it back i believe. Where are you located? My pp arrived in Seattle on 7/17 so i hope mine has a quick return too, although i'm sure the mailing back will take a while.

If i recall correctly i think flipn0ob was the last to talk about passport returns. Think it took 6 weeks (arr May 23, stamped June 21 and rec'd back july 4th). Omooba, i think my letter said they would return passport within 4 weeks of them receiving it. Whether that means they will send it...

My ecas hasn't been updated with MR or PPR either so ecas definitely isn't that accurate or up to date. Any news from anyone today? It's a week since eco and I got our PPR. I was hoping Thursdays were a lucky day for PPR letters. Fingers crossed for you all :) My passports arrived in Seattle...

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH :) I just got PPR email. I'm beside myself and still can't believe after nearly 28 months this day has finally come. They have requested our RPR fee and Stat Dec of Common-Law Union as we never submitted one signed under Oath because of our unusual circumstances. Wow...

Readytofly is right. As of June 1st I think it was VO's are no longer able to use couriers to return passports. They will only use regular mail with no tracking available and the letter someone posted on this forum previously states they accept no responsibility for lost items etc etc. Bit scary...
