I sent my application out with canada post express , it is consider as regular mail but still get a tracking number , if using other courier , then it will have to send it to a different address !! The main different is Canada post has a P.O box @ Sydney so it has it's own address.

I got the acknowledgement letter from cic on April 25, and I am still waiting for them to ask me to go for an medical exam , when I looked at others timeline , some of them got their medical exam done just few days after they got the cic application no. some have to wait for one to few months ...
