Hi Sam, Well come to forum. I think it is taking over 7 months to get visa. I applied in Oct and no word from colombo so far. It used to be fast. Many of my friends got visa with in 4 months. But it has been changed now. Good luck with ur paper works.

Hi Danajeya, That "medical result has been received" appears on and off all the time. I dont see it under my status now neither. It was there last week. I applied in 10/2010 as well. No response from colombo so far. I hope you will get something soon. Good luck.

Good to hear it from you Rathika. I dont know why they dont want to give us the time line. Such as, you will get the visa with in 2 month or 3 months...something like that. At least we can prepare stuff here. Like buying house hold stuff, renting house and so on..

Anyone dealing with colombo, sri lanka here? I applied in Oct 5th. Colombo received the application in Nov. No word from colombo so far. I even sent them email. No reply at all. Did anyone get PPR who applied to colomobo in Oct?

Thank you, I know many of my friends, from north, got with in 4 months. Same as you said, its depend. I guess colombo received my friend's app in June or something. I dont remeber the exact date.

I think you will get by June. My friend said 2 months ago that "his wife's birthday is in Feb and she will get visa before b.day". He was right. She got the visa just 2 weeks before her b.day. So I think it will work out for you too. Mine is on Aug, so need to wait for 6 more months?

Did you guys get any update? I applied in Oct and application has been forwarded to Colombo in Nov. We haven't heard any thing from colombo so far. I sent an email and asked status of my application. No reply so far. Not sure what is going on.
