    Your visa will be valid until the expiry of your passport or one year from medicals whichever is eaelier. So that means your PR visa too shall expire in Jan 2016. See if you can renew it in Tatkaal!

    Not necessarily so, cooldim. I had to get PCC from India and UAE and my PPR arrived in 21 days from MR. That said, my consultant had told me that it would take 2-3 months so relax, your PPR should be forthcoming.

    Hi Arkscan, If I am not wrong, you need to carry the entire amount irrespective of the duration of your stay in Canada. Even if you want to leave the same day you land, you still need the entire amount with you. Hope this helps.
