they dont send any seperate notice for the inital assessment. the first letter you should get after the sponsorhip approval letter is the AOR, then if they need anything else or need an interview that will come later on.

are you inland or outland? if inland then its propably a decision on your AIP, sometimes (not too often) they give both aip and final decision in one, if you are outland then its the decsion either requesting your passports or refusing you.

you are SUPPOSE to go back to the US and stay for 6 months, technically you are only allowed in canada 6 months out of a year. But i believe you can file an extension to stay longer if you are running out of time til your PR is finished.

sighn in with sponsors info until you get AOR then the number you get off that is your immigration ID and at that time you can log in (or try to) with your information.
