Lol....hey! How come you didn't hear about the delays as I see that you applied in the beginning of this year?? I believe the delays started happening in late 2010 onwards....Earlier than that things were much faster.

Thy didn't ask for my wife's remedical either in AOR letter back in March 2012 but asked for other things like police certificates. I spoke to a friend of mine yesterday whose case is also Nikah only like mine and he received remedical request in June but not police certificates....baffling...

That's possible, but things were different back then, no? When I was applying, I had heard of a lot of cases finishing in less than a year. Later on, things worsened....

Lol.....many things "dawned" on me too after reading this forum! ;) Alot of misinformation out there especially if we try to compare our cases to one or two ppl but this forum has been very enlightening....

A lot of randomness in their process! ;) When they sent my wife AOR back in March they asked for Police clearance certificates but no re-medical? Why would they want to recheck criminal history without being interested in medical history? Baffling.... :)

Actually, I'm the sponsor in Canada and my wife is studying in Pakistan. And I have already visited her in Pakistan after the Nikah visit and sent them proof of that visit (voluntarily, before receiving AOR). You still think they will have doubts? ::) I think the profile settings don't have...
