    Guys, what if the passport request comes when a passport is valid for less than 6months? Do they accept such passport for the immigration visa?

    I also sent the RPRF last year on May 2012 along with my medical. I updated my documents on Feb. 2013. Still waiting for PPR. I'm FSW3.

    It depends. I'm in Canada but CIC asked me to send them my CV and publications list.

    around 3 months ago I guess. This might be a part of background check I believe and they don't request it from everybody... Only from a certain nationality ;)

    Not very relevant but FYI: Countries and territories whose citizens will soon need to provide biometric information to enter Canada as visitors http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/biometrics.asp
