Not sure if this is correct. My received line is still there and when I called CIC 3 times back in may, they all told me my file had been transferred to my local office on May 8 (I think.. can't recall the exact date right now)

Hi, I submitted my application back in February. Last week I had to leave for an emergency out of the country and cannot go back for a few months. Is there a way to extend the process in the event that they send me the test letter? Can I change the test date easily?

Hi, I have to renew my passport as it will expire in a couple of months. I was told by the consulate of my home country that they do not give back the old passport. Will I be OK if and when they ask for my passport during the interview (or any other time)? Thank you :)
