I would say the number of applicants is still growing really fast (1500 per month or so). You can observe it by the number of applications counting towards 12000. CIC has a page for that.

There was a burst of MRs last Friday. The speed of sending out MRs slowed down drastically from Saturday. Wish everything is all right in Ottawa office.
