Your wife was in USA for less than six months when you filed application right? She was in USA for six or more months ever? If not, you might get waived. Just fax them or do file specific enquiry and explain, mention date from what date to what date she was there. I had kind if same situation...

You have this line "We started processing your application....." on your status page? If yes, how long you have it there?

I have received similar document by mail. They have a list of item but and they marked with cross what document they asked for. I emailed them with info last week, since then nothing. Once they receive requested documents they will move ahead and won't too long. Nothing to worry about it.
