Not sure you need to contact anyone. You can just work for US clients with their paychecks coming to you from the US and no one will show up and deport you or anything. What do you need to speak to someone about? Perhaps I am not understanding.

checked my CIC info on the net today. I am supposed to be contacted by CIC Winnipeg, but haven't heard from them at all. BUT there is an interview scheduled in my file!!!! Can I take that at face value?????

As the others have said, could very well be genuineness that they are checking. But, on the bright side, you shouldn't be worried about proving that if you are actually in a genuine relationship ;)

If you can't scan it, it shouldn't matter where it is sent from, as you are allowed to be in Canada with an Outland app, just as long as you are in Canada legally. She's got a visitor's visa, so sounds like everything is fine!

I would suggest printing out the empty app and filling it in by hand then.

from what i am reading it sounds like they completed processing your PR application. Does it say anywhere that an office will contact you? After completing a PR app, you would be getting a landing interview. Any email from CIC about his? Or this is just whats on the website?
