Does it mean it was sent, or does it mean it was received from the local office? Because it says "we started processing", which to me means that it was received by the local office. If that is the case, the local office must've scanned the application , in order to generate a IP status... which...

In ECAS it gives you the option to change your address... off the top of my head, you can just use that to change your address.. but just so that they do not think you simply moved, and then assume you had not included that particular apartment in your application, I would also send a note to...

My guess: it's that time of the year where public servants/officers get renewed (most of them probably are term employees)... so they got a push from managers , on being more productive vs being let go + productivity goes up when contract's up for renewal because employees think job performance...

I am surprised I got IP so fast.. not to jinx it or anything hahaaa. but I was one of the ones who got AOR later than those who had submitted after me ... Maybe what happens is, they process AOR then send it off, then the ones that come in later end up at the top of the stack... and get treated...

Did you request and pay extra for a signature? If you didn't, it won't put it.

Did anyone see the video about the citizenship test? I do not know if it is a new one (post-C6), but in it , it says to bring certain documents, and that if you do not pass the test after the 2nd try, you will have to see an immigration official for interview. Does this mean that otherwise...

Also, I just checked ECAS today, and I now have 2 lines, 1) we received your app on Dec 11, 2) we sent you AOR. When I checked yesterday it wasn't active. Means someone did something this morning. Hopefully my application is now on its way to Ottawa!

Yes, apparently they do send them on weekends even. I didn't think so either. I wonder if they schedule this and it gets sent automatically, or if someone is physically there and working overtime/weekends (which is strange since that is quite rare in government, I guess they are way behind...
