Ours was via email as well. I (sponsor) received it on Friday. My husband (applicant) didn't receive it. We never got a confirmation letter that they had our file.

SOC, we received it by e-mail, specifically, I did (sponsor). It says: "If you received this communication via email, please note that another copy will not be mailed to you." Which is good news, since we were worried that with our move, it could have gotten lost in the mail if it was not sent...

I wouldn't worry, we never received one but still got approved today, so clearly it doesn't mean they don't have it. Good luck!

I think they know that if they update to the latest case they're working on, they'll get buried in calls, so I think they rather underwhelm us with early dates.
