    February 2020 Inland Sponsorship

It's an F followed by 9 numbers. I'm the PA and my husband doesn't have his own GCKey, was hoping we could just see everything from my account. Should I be trying to link the application with the Sponsor's or PA's info? I've been trying with my own info and putting "2" as the number of people on...

    February 2020 Inland Sponsorship

Thank you for the clarification! There was an application number in the attached pdf, but I'm wasn't able to link it successfully to the online service. I'll give it another try in about a week or so.

    February 2020 Inland Sponsorship

Here is the first part of the pdf mentioned. I'm not pasting the entire thing, just the relevant part. It gives instructions on how to pay biometrics fees and lets you know the situations when one should contact IRCC.(change of contact info, and your general situation mostly) It also has an...

    February 2020 Inland Sponsorship

They received my app on February 25. If it weren't for COVID, I could have reasonably expected the AOR somewhere around the middle of April-May, just based off former averages, which was about 52 days. Yesterday was 4 months since they received my app and I randomly get that email.... I think...

US citizen getting married in canada?

I'm American and I married my husband at a city hall in Ontario, didn't need to do anything but pay them for the marriage license and the service. You'd have to check if city halls are open again yet, though.

I just got the "Biometrics Fee Reminder" email as well about an hour ago. It does note to disregard the letter if I've already paid, which I have. Taking this as finally getting some form of validation, seems they are finally looking at our apps again. Hope this means the AOR will follow soon.

Why Does Sponsorship Applications Takes so Long As Compared To Other Visa types??

I would say that the processing time is so long mostly to weed out fraud. When someone sees 12+ months processing time and is trying to just get in somewhere quickly, it may be a deterrent. Additionally, they would probably want to make sure the sponsor is actually able to perform the...

Need some advice! Removal order in process and Sponsorship in process

I didn't see this post before, but I saw your update. I just want to say I'm happy for you and your family that the pandemic has been (at least in this regard) a bit of a blessing in disguise. For me I think very negatively about how the delays are slowing me down and I don't know when my app...

Does Ontario's Trillium Plan Count as Social Assistance?

Hi there everyone. I (principal applicant) and my husband (Canadian Citizen Sponsor) submitted the app for Inland Spousal Sponsorship back in February. We had been preparing documents and whatnot for at least a year and tried to be as thorough as possible. One thing we read early on was that the...

    February 2020 Inland Sponsorship

According to the 2020 Sponsorship Sheet, about 40% of the people who applied in Feb are waiting, mostly people whose applications were received after Feb 21. May 11 was the last time anyone got an AOR that posted to the sheet

    February 2020 Inland Sponsorship

I wrote out an enumeration for my fees paid and sent it with my app since my printed receipt didn't show what everything covered. Total adds up to $1380, and if you exclude the OWP fees it's $1125. I believe some of the fees went up in price recently, but I don't know for sure. I haven't go any...

    February 2020 Inland Sponsorship

I'm also just on implied status now from the OWP app after my visitor record expired recently. Every day is leaping up to check the mail, being disappointed by flyers. Same with email. All we can do is wait though, unfortunately...

Spousal Sponsorship - In Canada Class Application Delays?

They received mine Feb 25 and I still have nothing. It's really disheartening that people who had their apps received just 4 days before me got their AORs over a month ago now. (According to the 2020 spreadsheet, they basically finished off January up to Feb 21 on April 30) I was hoping to get...

    Hello everyone

Hi there. By the sounds of it, you are the sponsor because you are already a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident. Your husband is the Principal Applicant because he is the one needing to immigrate to Canada. Make sure you check out the Basic Guide and really read over it. It will answer...

Family Class Spouse PR (Permanent Resident ) Application March 2020

Hi there. I got signature delivery receipt of my inland application on February 25. I haven't got AOR yet either, and according the the 2020 spreadsheet the last people to get them were a few people people who had their apps received on Feb 21, about 3 weeks ago. I don't know how they are...

    February 2020 Inland Sponsorship

Mine was received Feb 25, haven't got AOR yet either. The latest people to get them (according to the spreadsheet) seem to be a few who were received Feb 21...hope they get to us in a timely manner. It's been more than two weeks since the large bulk they sent out to about half the February...

Applied inland, no confirmation yet from IRCC, need to extend stay for spouse

Hi there, Your dates are actually very similar to my own. My Inland PR app was also delivered on Feb 25, and I have status from a visitor extension until June. I also submitted an OWP with the PR, so that should give me implied status while they're working on it. I think we should be getting...
