    lawsuits against C24

The "intention to reside forever in Canada" worries me :( I just became a PR, and I wonder what will happen if 20 years later I wish to move to another country for a better job offer.

travelling internationally with a foreign passport which is about to expire

Hi all. I hold a non-Canadian and non-US passport. Can I travel from Canada to US (and back) in January 2015 if my passport's expiry is in August 2015? Thanks.

    lawsuits against C24

Hi everyone. It is common knowledge that anyone applying for citizenship after June/July 2015 will be subject to C24. What I'm unsure of is, what is the progress on the lawsuits against it? Also, how strong are these lawsuits (is there any hope that they'd be able to reverse this law before...

Travel out of Canada immediately after applying for PR

I dont think travelling to US should be a problem. I applied for PR in August 2013 from within Canada. I travelled to US in September for 2 days, then in November for 11 days, and then in March 2014 for 5 days. It didn't cause any problems for me. I got my PR in May 2014.

How long to send medical report?

Since the doctor's office sends these results to CPP electronically, I believe the results are received within 3 or 4 days. In my case, after I got my medical done, it took around 1 month for ecas to show 'Medical results have been received'.

Landing - is it necessary to go to border?

I'm an inland applicant (Ontario) and I just received my CoPR. My question is, is it necessary to go to border to do the landing? Is there an alternate way?

People who got Decision Made but no PPR..

I sent passport size, as well as 35*45. But they used the 35*45 one on the CoPR, so that's the right size to send.

    Decision Made no PPR

You should look out for an update on your ecas called 'Decision Made'. I think it will take around 3 to 4 weeks for that to happen. After 'Decision Made', wait for another 2 to 8 weeks to get the PPR email.
