I don't take it as a bad sign !! It's just that when you get the same kinda letter from CIC twice (4 months later ) you just wonder. and you are just trying to get the information from others who are or have been in the same situation. Nothing more to it .

after successfully restoring my status , I recieved my OWP today valid for 2 years. Feels good. Hang in there everyone. Good things do happen when you least expect it.

Finally my OWP arrived ( valid for 2 years) Can't wait to go to service Canada and get my sin so I can start looking for jobs and be productive. It feels great. Thank you everyone who have given me their time and suggestion.

I was out of status when I send in my inland application (few days left for the 90 days to apply for restoration) I did apply for restoration of status and yes it was approved for one year :)

December 2015 inland here as well. As of now, I have only Aor and that's about it.
