My new medical it shows passed...but background still not started :(...in exactly 11 days I will achieve 13 months...We will call them soon if we still do not hear anything from them :(

No progress in my case for now...It s being a week and a half since I redone my medical and my police ...they received it and update ,,passed,, within few days, nothing else since then :(

On September 4h 2015...son it will be 13 months of waiting.. This is the maximum processing time for my VO 13 months.

We applied on October 4th (and at my Vo processing time is 13 months)... So I will achieve 13 months soon... They never ask more evidence(but we sent additional proof even if they did not ask coz we were worried)... They did not ask for interview even if we have few red flags :). I really hope...

I cannot answer to you exactly when they update your medical but from what what I know it takes between 4-8 weeks....then about background from what I know it the last thing they will do before they as for passport (background and security checks), so at that stage you will be close to the end...

Sorry to say it but I do not know what is in your mind ! I am not in the position to judge anybody but if tomorrow you will have the hearing you should be pretty well prepared already. You could read here and on other sites people s stories, their issues... and how they faced the hearing. You...

Did you received an UCI? If so, you can go online on ECAS and there are some informations when they received your application and when they start processing it. Hope it helps!

Hello, first of all welcome here, secondly from what I know most of sponsors in this thread are sponsoring spouses from Romania , Bulgaria, Moldova. But do not be worry! probably because of the refugees problems in Syria they are trying to speed up things so they send the application wherever...

is so quiet here....there is nobody receiving any news from VO? As I said above they needed a new medical so I did it ....they also asked me for a new police certificate I did that as well now I am waiting for further requests from them...from what I read the next step should be passport...

Yes that's right, living together it helps you to prove to them you are genuine... But as you said some has no choice... Is difficult :( but don't lose your hope :)

He has his own surveillance company... So he can work remotely from here and of course he also has 2 technicians there who are doing their jobs... As crazy D said is just about luck in some case... It would be difficult for my husband to find a job here...
