July 2019 applicant. Test Feb 2020 DM March 2020 Still waiting for oath invite as it has been over a year after DM. Ottawa is not moving at all. I have called but they always have same standard answer that everything is complete for your file and just wait for oath invite.

It seems there is no activity in Ottawa. Our application is with Ottawa office and we did our test a year ago in Feb 2020 and since then still waiting for oath invite. It's so frustrating especially seeing that with other offices people who recently did their tests got oath invite within weeks.

Based on new update it seems instead of gaining some pace they have reduced the number of oaths in Oct 2020. No data is available yet for Nov and Dec 2020. I think its better to renew PR cards for those whose PR cards are about to expire as there is no way of knowing whether it will take another...

PR Cards received today for myself, wife and Son. But card for daughter is still not received. Called CIC and according to them it was mailed today so hopefully will get her in few days. Landed on 7th Oct at Montreal.

Here is the update today on CIC website Permanent Resident cards New PR card Processing time 90 days as of 13 Jan 2016. Does not include document mailing time (up to six weeks).

Congrats Marlee. I am happy for you. Good to see that at least this waiting journey is finally over for you. Next will be landing and after that another waiting journey of PR card. Waiting thing... never gets old.. does it..!!! :)

Guys Passport submitted in on 15th July 2015 and got it back on 24th July 2015 with visa stamped. Considering the fact that from 17 till 21 there were public holidays so it was impressive work by embassy. Thank you everyone for your support and Good luck.

Marlee In my opinion I think it might be a good idea to send a copy of your police certificate which you sent with original application with a letter stating that original was submitted with the application. What if they have put file on hold waiting to hear back from you? Getting a response...

Marlee yes indeed it is time to celebrate. Over all journey of four years and eight months is a long time. I am pretty sure you will get your PPR within this month. I have observed that generally they update ECAS and send emails on Tuesdays. So hopefully today or next Tuesday you will get yours.
