I got an email saying there had been an update made to the application, and to check the mycic site to read about it. There has been no accompanying letter or email explaining this fact. My MyCIC account just says that my application has been approved, and is now closed.

I applied for a bowp on Feb. 28. Earlier today my application hadn't been touched (according to mycic). Now I just got an update saying it's been approved! Better late than never. Good luck everyone!

Medicals were done on April 7 and on April 14 ECAS updated with medical results received. Unless one gets a call from the examining doctor's office saying there was something amiss with the results of the exam/lab work/x-rays, can one assume that he or she 'passed' the medical exam? This...

That's unfortunate. I haven't contacted CIC yet, though I did apply for GCMS notes last week. The delays ARE annoying, though I'm also of the opinion that "no news is good news." Hopefully our apps will move forward soon!

Congrats Pepperlee! My situation is similar to yours (App filed on 04-07-2014, AOR received 22-08-2014), so hopefully my MR will arrive shortly. I'm trying not to get nervous and let my mind jump to negative conclusions, but it's hard! I'd rather not apply to GCSM notes if I don't have to.

My wife and I are 4th July applicants and are still waiting for our MR. Hopefully it comes soon!
