my officer also BWJ and waiting for passport request since nov-2014.RPRF,PCC,MR all send and uppdated on ecas since nov but no passport request :-\

good luck

usually its within 1 month but my case it seems its prolonged for some reason.

Ye Yes BWJ is visa office who responds to email within days.He/she is also my visa officer. :-\
