Thanks alot this helps . My father currently has visa valid till 08.20.2014. I have one more question ? Can I apply for Super Visa from within canada ? Can I apply this anytime during their stay or only before 30days of expiry of 6 month period.

I thought you are travelling by road, if it's flight you need to have travel doc.

FOr US you do not need to have PR card with you , but you just need you signed CoPR . hope that helps

My tracker got activated last evening at 18.26. CIC received my passport on 13th November.

I think you need to Talk to Immigration lawyer.. there some specific time and with in that time from your rejection date you need appeal.

If you are married and you are applying PR then you mush add your spouse in the application otherwise it's false information to CIC and you will be in trouble in future. Try to apply visitor dependent Visa for her and once you get it it apply PR.. Seniors please correct me if i'm wrong.
