Hi folks, could anyone please direct my query, as to where i could research the appeals process, against a rejection decision that has been made for permanent residency? I couldnt find it on CIC website. I am interested to learn some of the following;
- what the process is?
- how i lodge appeal?
- how it is administered?
- appeal timeframes?
- acceptable grounds for appeal?
- the costs for lodging appeal?
- Can i maintain continued implied legal status after my PR rejection, until the appeal decision? etc.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
Cheers, DreamMagii

I think you need to Talk to Immigration lawyer.. there some specific time and with in that time from your rejection date you need appeal.

you will need a LAWYER for appeal,without it you do not stand a chance of it been approved.appeal is a complicated procedure and you can't appear in the court without a lawyer,the judge will not allow this.

whoever there is one of your questions that i can answer:
*PR application does not grant you an implied status in canada,you need to hold a temporary residence status(worker,visitor,student)in order to stay in canada legally.

good luck :)
