I got my full hearing Nov 24 2016 and I also filed it in March 2016. I did it in Toronto, it took 8 months as well.

Hey were in the same boat. My husband and I are waiting for a letter as well. I calied cic and they told me he will receive the letter but they can't tell me what the decision is. Maybe we both will get ppr at the same time. Good luck and keep the faith. >:(

Yes I called them. They told me they can't give me any information :(. I also email and they just said that my husband should receive a letter in the mail.
