Yes. You are correct, but I believe it is the original you have to send or if you can't send the original it has to be a ceratified copy of the original.

Thank you for the update. They have not requested it to be uploaded online at all, but ours was mailed in and got there August 1st. So we are probably in a similar place. Goodluck!!

Question. We have mailed in the police check to mexico city but no request to upload online. How will we know once they have recieved it ? (We have tracking and it was already delivered and signed for but nothing has changed online)

Hi, I have a question. Many people on here are saying they have uploaded their Police Check. When our was requested, it said to mail it in to the office in Mexico, not upload it. Is that what everyone else has done or maybe it is just for Mexico?

We got our request for our police check yesterday (July 24th), but we already had our background check in progress since the beginning of July. Hopefully this means good news.

That is what our status said regarding the medical exam until we passed it. It took about a week to pass it and for it to be updated on the website. Give it a couple weeks to be reviewed. I would not be worried quite yet.

Sent in our schedule A on June 14th. They have not asked for police check. We are thinking since he (my boyfriend) has lived in Canada for the past 3 years and already applied once they might not ask for it or already have his police check background from our previous application. Not sure but...

Application recieved May 10th. SA June 7th. Medical passed June 19th. Background check in progress July 3rd. This is our second application because we had to withdraw our first one and reapply from outland. We withdrew and reapplied within a month and a half. I am not sure if this affects...

Hi there! Our background check has been in progress for about 2 weeks now. Any rough ideas of how long until they make a decision? We are travelling through Central America indefinitely until we get the permanent residency and just want a rough idea when to expect a decision. Cheers
