The date you received your medicals is considered as the received date. It is valid for 1 year. For instance, if you received your medicals on 14th May 2013 then it will be valid till 13th May 2014.

The visas are valid till the date your medicals expire. BUT as a primary applicant you need to finish your landing first, your wife and kids cannot do the landing before you. !!! hope this helps

Yeah, i took the copy of her AOR with me. MP told me that by 15th May CIC will start giving PPR to applicants who filed in July and as we can all see that she was telling the truth, people have started getting the PPR, but what i noticed is people who filed between 2-15th July are still waiting...
