i will be going to medical center tomorrow .. probably cic ask for additional chest x-rays. i am not sure until tomorrow will update on this and my status is still application received which is obvious that my medicals are not complete as of yet.

sort of update ... i received a letter in my mail .. they asked me for another medical test with same DMP in 90 days before decision can be made .. they also enclosed a sealed letter for doctor .. and letter was signed on 19th oct 2012.

i called my medical center they told me that it takes 2-3months for cic to update medicals .. they already send my medicals on 27th august. .. where as my wife who is in pakistan had also verified that her medical were send too. .. i will think on sending receipts after waiting for a week since...

can you tell me how this border crossing works? if you are already in canada.. I am in Ottawa right now what should i do once i get my paper?

did you ask immigration why they haven't updated your medicals? .. over the email it seems like they reply this general email to every one that your file is in process and will take 16 months ...

yes but your file will eventually transferred to Detroit. Ottawa CPP is there for initial processing i guess.

yes it sucks. there official time line is also updated from 14 months to 16 months now.

i was not given any tracking number .. any way i will check with my doctor tomorrow also i have asked my wife(outside canada) to check with her doctor as well ... i hope this notice is false positive ..

yes !! from the email its says 10 months .. and i can contact them after 120 days.. but i am puzzled now .. within 24 hour they send me reminder email of medical .. which i already gave it 2 months ago.. this is frustrating ... there should be a better channel of communication rather then just...
