Hello everyone.

this is my ecas

We received your application for permanent residence on May 8, 2012.

Medical results have been received

I have received my medical request on June 25th 2012. Tomorrow the 120 will be over.

Should i call them? Or just wait.

I know people who applied in July and received their passport request. Is every case different or does that mean that something is wrong with my application?

Thank you and god bless you all

We are in same situation....
i emailed them and this is what they answered

File number: *********

yes !! from the email its says 10 months .. and i can contact them after 120 days.. but i am puzzled now .. within 24 hour they send me reminder email of medical .. which i already gave it 2 months ago.. this is frustrating ... there should be a better channel of communication rather then just sending same replies to every one !!

Mine also mentioned 120 days and 10 months.....But now in the email they are saying it's 16 months....UGH >:(

yes it sucks. there official time line is also updated from 14 months to 16 months now.

Thanks for the info ...yeah mine is also AINP

Sohil - Detroit timeline doesn't apply to us as our files are at Ottawa

Hope for the best ! we will get PPR soon ! when they say 10 months or 16 months its the maximum time that it could take, they say so ,so that people dont bug them all the time.

Cheers

naah Ottawa actually make the decision and Detroit only paste the visa on behalf of Ottawa .

I see .. i think SONIC can tell us.

I just talk to my doctor and they said they have already send my reports on 17th august. I should wait for 2-3 months according to their staff experience. :-X I think i cant do any thing other than waiting since my wife's medical and my own medical reports are been send by medical centers to immigration already.

Ottawa makes the decision. Then they will ask you to send your passport to Detroit office for COPR and visa stamping.
