MAT! That's awesome!! Congratulations! My hubby lives in Bucharest so he dropped it off himself at the embassy! He dropped it off last week Wednesday, and they called him today to pick it up! SO he has his COPR too!! So i hope it reaches you sooner than their 15 working days!!! So happy for you!

If your wife is not in Canada, you need to obtain her consent (form is right on the same website). You will want the electronic file request. They will email it to you. Physical can take longer, and it is mailed out.

I was freaking out about something similar the other day, I used my mother's maiden name which isn't her legal name anymore. Others assured me that this wouldn't invalidate the certificate, and that it would be fine. I had no issues with the certificate at all. :)
