Exports is right. Aim to pass on your second try....never loose hope. You can do this! In my case,I read and re-read Discover Canada like 4 times....tried a few online practice tests as well which I always get 18,but they can be redundant questions. Study.Read the study guide a few times...

We're June 2015 applicants. We sent our application June 1,CIC got it June 3....AOR was sent out July 23.

Ours did....one email for only my son and one email specifically for me too. My son is 17 btw.

In my experience,you do not need to bring your under 18 yr old kids with you on the test date.They don't necessary need to be there but if you feel at ease having them with you,then by all means do so. They don't take the test if they're under 18 years old. During my test,I just brought with me...

Hi Canadiangoose, I submitted a photocopy of my university degree TOR from my birth country,not sealed but is in english. CIC accepted it as a sufficient language proof as I am now waiting for an oath invitation. :D :D Very best of luck.

I did. I used my TOR from my College/university from my birth country. They've accepted it......all's well so far..... now waiting for oath.

Same here. My Ecas status is Decision Made but my son's still In Process.....I don't worry as much coz I asked the VO about what to expect and what happens next. I also saw my son's papers with my files,so I know we're being processed at the same time. :) :)

Hi. I was told during my interview (after I asked about it) that my son (who's under 18) will get his oath invitation along with mine. And he has to be there,he has to attend the citizenship ceremony with me,otherwise,he will NOT get his citizenship certificate. ;) ;) That's what I was told...

I also have a 17 year old son....so I asked the immigration officer,what about him? She said that all he ( my son) needs to do is show up on my oath taking day to receive his certificate too. Said that he'll receive a letter for oath date same time as I do. :D :D

Took my citizenship exams today,got 20/20 :D :D....interview went well too. Now waiting for oath. Immigration officer said 2-4 months....hopefully it will be a shorter wait :D Thank you all for the help and support...all the insights and timeline sharing made this journey a smooth sailing one...
