For recent citizenship applications, do you receive separate AOR for family members or just one for example a couple sent their application in one package?

I received an email AOR for me and my son.

Ours did....one email for only my son and one email specifically for me too. My son is 17 btw.

We're June 2015 applicants. We sent our application June 1,CIC got it June 3....AOR was sent out July 23.

When you say "family" application - can I just confirm my understanding - these are regular applications but are included together in the same envelope hence CIC considers it a family application?

This is what we did - I received my AOR first (my application I believe was the topmost in the package we sent) and then my wife got hers about 30 minutes later - both by email.

The email your husband received should have a PDF attachment - if you open that attachment it will be a letter which should have Dear <HUSBAND'S NAME> on it.

That is bizarre. The AOR that my husband received doesn't even indicate his name.
It was blank.
