My parents has done the medicals sometime in April for 2018, they may have this in the system. I also read somewhere that medicals are valid for a year. Does this mean they may clear the medicals based on what they have on the file? Or its is mandatory to have the new medicals?

You would be better off with doing ur landing procedure just 2 hours south of Regina at Estevan border. Niagara, fort Erie are busy ports.....its ur choice.
