Make sure you have the latest version of the form dated 25 October. There are versions of the form which are known to have this error. CIC updated the form but your browser has probably cached an older copy. See this post for more details : Tracking working/non working versions of form CIT0002E-2

There doesn't appear to be a way to do this. You can cut'n'paste a single text cell at a time. It appears you can do this for date cells as well

Do you mean you entered your pre-PR SIN (beginning with a 9) or you entered a completely wrong number? The CRA know all your SINs (no pun intended) so a pre-PR number shouldn't be an issue.
