VOs often don't acknowledge receipt of documents. You could try posting in the NDVO thread to ask, but generally, them not acknowledging receipt in and of itself is not something to worry about!

My MP sent to it to them through Canada Post Xpress for free! Like, they gave me some label that I attached to it and then I took it to the post office and they sent it off without making me pay anything. You could check with your MP's office to see if they do that in your area.

Yes, but you're almost guaranteed to get denied (that's assuming when you say "after immigration process", you mean after you've applied). Once eligibility has passed it becomes more likely, but at that point you're often so close to the end that it isn't worth it.

You answered your own question! Your passport has to be valid for a year from the date on the PPR letter, but other than that, it's a year from when you did your medicals. The date is on GCKEY (and on your documents, I'm sure).

For us it took 9 months after we did medicals for PPR. It's different for everyone, though. In a straightforward situation, you're looking at 9-12 months total, on average. And we did outland, so unfortunately I have no knowledge of OWP stuff.
