yea, but only if they are permanent residents. does this include those with COPR? this is a different status. There is no distinction on the IRCC site with those who have COPR and those who are on spousal COPR.

this link doesn't answer our questions and worries. It says if you are not able to travel with a COPR then we need to fill out a web form and submit it. March 18 the day when the travel ban will come into effect.

agree! it will take a bit of time to iron things out with IRCC and rules governing this. There hasn't been an update on IRCC since march 15. Let's be patient and wait. I would rather be prepared then assume which could lead to a lot of issues later on.

Did they clarify on what the stance is for spouses for Canadian citizens?

Ok it doesnt apply to Canadian citizens immediate family, so spouses entering Canada are not turned away unless they have symptoms. Even then they are to self isolate at home.
