Singhlovcan, You will be fine! My personal experience with CIC is that they go thoroughly on your background. If you have everything clean (which looks like you do) then you shouldnt worry!Bring all your documentation to the interview and state the facts.

I have been told the same but the wording used was "citizenship was granted to you on Sep 25th'14" I haven't heard anything from my local office.

If I was in your shoes, I would just state the facts as it is. I would be showing my ties here at Canada like work/ study etc. It's not illegal to hold permanent residency of another country while seeking citizenship of Canada. At worst they may issue a RQ asking about your where about for last...
