My app was returned in 2015 due to the quota but I noticed that they had opened the application and stamped it as "received" on IMM1344 form. So looks like they do open the application perhaps to scan it in the system.

That doesnt make any sense. How can they deliver it at 7:30 when they start accepting the applications at 8? I am sure its a typo.

I used Purolator's same day service and just got a confirmation that my package was delivered at 10:08 AM

Yes I noticed that today as well. I like the new way tbh, very quick and to the point. I checked the parents sponsorship time and noticed they are working on applications submitted in Nov 2011 so the processing time is around 4 years. This is definitely a good sign

Hello All, Can anyone throw some light on what is the processing time in New Delhi, India after the medical examination is done. I know that medical results take a week to reach the embassy. How long can it take for them to issue visa after the medical results have been received?
