My background checks are going on since May 2018 and I am October 2017 applicant. Can’t say how much time they will take from 1 day to one year, it could be anything

Regarding our second marriage, why we married to eachother and some other specific questions regarding our case

Offcourse our was due to second marriage and I can’t share other details here publicly but yes second marriage is a red flag. And background checks are done by third party and you can get stuck in background checks for so many reason, male or female don’t really matter a lot

When it comes to background checks it can take from 1day to more then an year only.

They sent us PFL we answered it and got eligibility passed in December 2018 after 14 months

My file was transferred in April 2018 and got eligibility passed in December 2018

You will get a pre arrival services letter in your gckey

Yes hopefully it is like that for you. You will get pre arrival letter once the eligibility of applicant get passed. Since your file was transferred to LVO in January 2019 so it is too early for that letter usually LVO replies after 6 months or so

One more thing if your background checks started late after pre arrival see letter it is considered to be a good sign and more then 90% applicant got their background checks done within a week. If you ask me it’s a blessing
