They will ask you for an updated pcc when they start processing your background checks if it has not been started yet. Other then that they will keep processing your application. Background check is the last step before DM.

Oh okey, usually someone get 2nd medical request after the background checks are done. If you got it already and it is still valid then just hope that background check gets done very soon.

Before getting ppr you will have to undergo 2nd medical too. So stay patient brother first the background needs to end for you then you will get remedical request after passing the medical exam then you will get DM and then PPR

Yes totally agreed but it is not us who decides. Which case is simple or complex it is upto the case Officer if he believes that or not. In most cases the simple applications are done in 12 months not all offcourse

It all depends on the complexity of each and every case, simple cases get done in 12 months and other can take up more specially if you are in queue for an interview or stuck in background checks. Once you are scheduled for an interview or stuck in background checks there is no time limit

This progress bar is nothing it is same as they have been saying before that the average processing time is 12 month, that does not mean that it will happen in 12 months for sure, it can happen but not must

That’s why I am saying that the total time that they need to finalise an application is dependent on the complexity of the case. Specially at LVO.

No if they work on file first come first serve then how come some June applicants already got ppr request along with some April and May applicants

Actually they work on files randomly and see the complexity of the case as well. If the case is straight forward in their eyes they will finish it first

Why are you not getting any update? It been more then 12 months for you too. So probably you have married to some gori as well or haven’t prepared your file well. 2017 applicants are stuck in background checks which has nothing to do with it, it’s just bad luck with us nothing else brother...
