PR card - March 2020 processing time

If I remember correctly, there should be a line saying a decision was made on your application on Jul xx, 2020. Then status changes to complete when the card is sent, also should be included in the detailed update. Anyway, you can always check with call centre to see what's going on if you are...

PR card - March 2020 processing time

Did your family land or is this a renewal? It's surprising to see from AOR to DM only took one day, for family too. Congratulations!

PR card - March 2020 processing time

No progress yet, still checking eligibility. Again, my case should be pretty straightforward as I only took regular vacation days away from the country. I'm suspecting IRCC is verifying my info with CBSA & CRA, communication among agencies might take longer these days too. I'll update when...

PR card - March 2020 processing time

You'll definitely need to wait for AOR first. I was able to link my application with the application # provided in AOR fairly easily. I assume I'll be able to see it in ECAS tomorrow too.

PR card - March 2020 processing time

To above, AORs received via email. My case is pretty straightforward, only took regular vacation days away from Canada during the past five years. Let's see how long it will take the decision to be made.

PR card - March 2020 processing time

Received AOR this morning at 9:47AM PST, Mar 5 delivery, renewal, can't find it on ECAS yet as it's one day behind, was able to link on my CIC with the application no. as well, showing reviewing eligibility. It's finally moving.

PR Card (New/Renewal) Processing Timeline 2020

Where do you see the application submitted message? on ecas? I sent in early Mar and couldn't see anything. An expired PR card won't affect your residency status. It's just a travel document. You could actually travel by car to the U.S. with an expired PR card, only need to explain to boarder...

PR Card (New/Renewal) Processing Timeline 2020

I saw that too, good to see some movement, on both renewing and issuing new cards. It looks like they started to work on the applications. Based on what I see, IRCC halted processing applications received somewhere from late Feb to early Mar.

PR Card (New/Renewal) Processing Timeline 2020

If you take a look, it's even worse this week (updated on May 19), for renewing. I am getting worried now because I might need to leave the country in Dec and I sent my application in early Mar, was under the impression that it would be done within a few weeks at that time... Hopefully IRCC...

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

After medial, there's no more update on ecas until the final landing process. After landing, the decision made changed to complete, and that's it. Hope this helps.

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

Guys, you better call IRCC to verify. I didn't read country specific requirements in details so I'm not sure if Hukou need to be notarized. If so, you'll have a hard time to do it here through the embassy/consulate, then better do it in China. If no, just get a certified translation. When mine...

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

I was under the impression that only maternity EI would count towards income, which shows up in Line 150. EI cannot be count towards income calculation in sponsorship except for maternity. I could be wrong but it's too late to discuss this for this year's application anyway :)

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

BC is a completely issue than income check. Search for background check IRCC, there's a great post on this forum talks about BC. Although I don't quite understand why you think they'd BC you so early. That should be on your applicant. Anyway, bottom line is, if your income is good and your...

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

Read the application guide, income in Line 150 must exceed requirement. For reassessment, I'm not sure what IRCC will do. It's been discussed so many times here that IRCC won't have the authority to audit you. That's CIC's job. They could ask for more support though. I think as long as you Line...

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

THIS might be the reason. I haven't read your entire post. I'm assuming your process is delayed and you think self employment was the issue. My personal experience cab tell you self employment won't be an issue. I also know by giving CRA consent, it just makes things that much easier for CIC...

    Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

My wife, the sponsor. We received the PR card already as 2019 applicant so trust me, it won't be the hold up. CIC should only care about Line 150. If in doubt or for any random reason, they might ask for Option C original from CRA, then it might delay the process a bit.

I scanned, as per my document request email stated and recommended as the faster way to process.

No you never need to prepare PCC for Canada. CIC will the domestic search by themselves, if applicable.
