I hear you. The email is confusing , but having done this twice already I can bet my wager that if you send them the scanned original PCC. They will take another month to respond back to you saying that will need the original mailed to them as a "HARD COPY". Email will not be considered

That is where CIC confuses you, You will need to mail in the original copy to Ottawa and you can let them know by email that you have mailed them a hard copy of the PCC Sending them an email with the scanned copy does not count as original per my knowledge

I am sure they will not ask you your health card or your status in the country. I have had to do it twice now and never asked. They know you are doing it for immigration.

Are you telling me your medical exams for CIC will be covered by Alberta Provincial Health Card ? Atleast in Ontario it is not covered so you will have to pay the doctor from your own pocket, so it doesn't matter you have your health card or not

Looks like you are talking about Indian Passports ;-). You are right about getting affidavits done, but you are confusing two things here. CIC does not care whether your spouse's name is added on your passport or not. They are two different jurisdictions with two different rules. CIC will issue...

I got a similar email beginning of this week and I asked my spouse to get it done and uploaded the results the very next day. Got a confirmation from CIC that they have received the results

What was your status when you made the application for PR ?

It is better to keep it consistent. If one does not have it , it is better not to have the changes done on the other. You can always add the names on each other's in the future(on your future trips to your home country). I've heard its a pain in the a** especially if you want to get it done...
