    OINP DRAW - JUNE 21, 2022

Hi all I submitted an OINP French Speaking FSW application on 10/05/22. They're supposed to process these in 70-100 days - I'm on 130 days!! Stuck on 'assessment' stage since about 40 days. Anyone in the same boat??

OINP - EE - Human Capital Priorities Stream - Comprehensive Guide

To be honest, I'm thinking of withdrawing the application as another door has opened (Quebec). I lose the fee if the application's already being processed. Does anyone know if the 'assessment' stage means it's 'being processed' or is this the step before?

My advice is you need to be making a plan A, B, C and D for the coming years if your serious about Canada immigration. Apply for jobs, look at study options, learn French, shift your career, can you improve your spouse's score, etc. All previous bets in this game are now off sadly

Totally agree, you'd be foolish to intentionally try to play the system or to listen to anyone advising you to do so. I've never seen it indicated anywhere that French must be selected as the first language for the Ontario French language draw. The Ontario webpage simply indicates you need the...

There's nothing on the Ontario government's webpage about this and therefore if an application is refused on those grounds then the rejection must be overturned as the government will not have provided correct information. This happened with the TEF vs TEF Canada exam. Prior to March 2020...

The Ontario government's webpage says nothing whatsoever about putting French as the first language; https://www.ontario.ca/page/ontarios-express-entry-french-speaking-skilled-worker-stream So, no, you just need the required level for the two languages. Make sure you do the correct French...

Another one in this boat. I haven't qualified for the OINP French speaker draw as my score's too high (480, dropping to 470 in July). Hoping for a nomination through this this year or next. I'm also looking at study options - I have French nationality, we benefit from zero student fees if we...

Hi guys - a question for you (2 in fact) As we know, IRCC is almost exclusively only inviting CEC candidates now, primarily as 90% of them (if I've understood correctly) are already in Canada and therefore not affected by the travel restrictions. The talk of IRCC never again returning to FSW...

    UK Qualification NVQ Level 2

My wife and I are also in this situation She has an NVQ Level 2 - 1 year of training on top of her Baccalaureat, which should give us 6 CRS points - but no ECA organizations accept "vocational" training! Their interpretation of vocational is extremely subjective. They accepted my own 2-year...

According to this Moving2Canada video, the bulk of these 22,000 profiles are in the minus 400 range and the number of profiles in all the higher brackets remains a lot lower than before the big February draw So it seems these are mostly CEC candidates now entering the pool who didn't previously...

Straight after the application rejection I passed the TEF Canada in order to start a fresh application. While I wait for a draw I'm simultaneously pursuing a review of the rejection. Obviously if one is successful, I'll abandon the other. The IRCC portal is designed to filter applications. You...

TCF "general public" for Express Entry - *help needed*

Hi guys My PR application was rejected last January as I had submitted the results of a TCF general public exam rather than the TCF Canada. As well as being understandably devastated, I found it hard to believe I could have made such an error - I clearly remember doing my research into the...

Phew  I searched and searched for proof that the IRCC used to accept the regular TCF (I can't imagine how else I made this mistake) - IRCC website screen shots from 2019 - but no joy If anyone has anything I'd be eternally grateful! I took the TEF (computer version) last month. In fact I...

Thanks dude Here in France, four types of TCF test are available and the IRCC only accepts one type, "TCF Canada" I have an appointment with a consultant on Friday to discuss trying to overturn the decision.. I'm serene enough about it all tbh, either it's all part of the grand cosmic plan that...

I would say a word or two more about the US (recent events there even made me question my desire to move in "next door") but I don't want to offend any American members of the forum. Then again I doubt many Trump supporters are applying for Canadian PR :) I was drawn last November but...

An excellently made point. In terms of education, healthcare and democracy, Canada is the true "Scandinavian" of anglo-saxon countries. This, plus the fact that I can raise my French children in an environment that fosters bilingualism, make it my first choice also. Anybody that considers the...
